GOALS & ACHIEVEMENTS

3 YEAR GOALS (2010 - 2012)

New 37,000 Sq ft Unit - We have exciting plans in place to build a new 37,000 sq ft workspace and associated hangarage at Enniskillen Airport.  This will allow us to maintain all fixed wing aircrafts from the small to the larger corporate jets. This will also leave us in a position to attract large commercial aircraft for maintenance. This unit is a crucial part of the airports development going forward. Additional spin off benefits will include a paint shop and interior refit facility for all aircrafts including helicopters.

Aeronautical Engineering Course - Intake Sept 2010, which links Enniskillen Airport with South West College.  Both Sloane Helicopters & London Helicopter Centers have committed to apprenticeship placements.

Commercial Pilots License Course - Intake Sept 2011.  This will be unique to Ireland as there is only one school in England which offers this integrated course. 

Amphibious Marina - Designed for amphibious planes and boats.  The airports unique location allows Enniskillen Airport to have a marina adjoining the airfield capable of taking up to 15 amphibious planes - Enniskillen Airport will be the only facility in Ireland to offer this.

5 YEAR GOALS (2013 – 2017)

Runway Extension - Enniskillen Airport have plans in place to extend the runway 400m. This will allow us to take commercial passenger airlines and more charter aircraft types. This will have a direct benefit to the business community who use such services much more extensively now than the industry has seen for many years.

New Terminal - Our new prestige and modern terminal building will include new offices, canteen, corporate meeting rooms, pilot shops and much more.

Corporate Charter - The new runway extension and new terminal will help us attract high profile corporate charter businesses to operation from Enniskillen.

Premier Corporate Airfield - To be the premier corporate airfield in Ireland.

Centre of Excellence - To achieve Centre of Excellence status for training and maintenance in the UK.
