AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE

London Helicopters operate and provide a full helicopter maintenance, engineering and avionics service from Enniskillen Airport since 2006. London Helicopters Centres has been established for over 15 years and is a PART 145 approved Maintenance Company.

Sloane Helicopters are a worldwide recognised helicopter engineering Centre of Excellence. From their state-of-the-art, custom-built hangar at Enniskillen Airport, they operate and provide a full helicopter maintenance, engineering and avionics service. They have the sole agency for Augusta Robinson aircrafts for England & Ireland.

Engineer Courses now available at the Airport in conjunction with the South West College

South West College is now in the process of establishing itself as an EASA Part 147 organisation to provide engineer licence courses starting in September 2010. The intention is to form alliances with operators to train apprentices to EASA Part 66 standards. This is likely to embrace the rotary wing market initially, with fixed wing modules following thereafter. Both London Helicopter Centres and Sloane Helicopters have both committed to offering apprenticeship places in conjunction with South West College.
